Will continue leading hotel company’s North American unit
Accor North America announced that ceo Olivier Poirot has decided to continue in that post. Last December, Poirot was appointed chief financial officer of parent company Accor Hospitality, and over the last four months worked on its plan to separate its hotel and prepaid services business units into independent companies.
For personal and family reasons, Poirot has decided to remain in Dallas and continue his role at Accor North America, Motel 6 and Studio 6, the company said. As a result, Paris-based Accor Hospitality has promoted Sophie Stabile to chief financial officer.
