After spending his time as cultural curator for Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts, Jérôme Sans has been appointed director of Ullens Center of Contemporary Art (UCCA) in Beijing. UCCA, in Beijing's Dashanzi Art District, is China's largest private contemporary art institution. Sans was appointed cultural curator for Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts in July 2006. He is the co-founder of Paris' acclaimed Palais de Tokyo, site for Contemporary Art Creation, and is a former director of programming at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead, England.
