ABC Kitchen named best new restaurant
The Bar Agricole restaurant in San Francisco; designed by Aidlin Darling Design, won outstanding restaurant design by the James Beard Foundation. Restaurants nominated in this category are North American locales that have either opened or been renovated since the start of 2008.
The foundation also announced that ABC Kitchen, New York, was named best new restaurant to open in North America in 2010. Winners in both categories were unveiled at a banquet in New York.
The awards are named in honor of Beard, a renowned chef and food writer.
