150-key property planned for Viejas site
The Veijas Casino complex near San Diego plans to add a 150-key hotel. The new hotel will include a pool, fitness room, business center and other amenities. It will be built on a site currently housing the casino’s bingo pavilion, which will be relocated.
Work on the hotel is slated to start in the first quarter of next year, with completion about a year later. The project will also include an expansion to the seating area of the casino’s Harvest Buffet. Swinerton has been named general contractor for the project.
