Choice Hotels’ flag to debut in three new markets
Choice Hotels International Inc. announced plans for its first Cambria Suites lifestyle hotels in three major markets: Washington, D.C., Houston and White Plains, N.Y.
The Washington and Houston sites are being developed by Concord Hospitality, which has more than 80 managed or owned hotels. The 182-room Cambria Suites hotel in Washington, D.C., will be part of CityMarket at O, a $300 million mixed-use development, while the 127-suite Cambria Suites property in Houston will be built near that city’s airport.
The White Plains locale is being developed by Meyer Jabara Hotels, which owns and operates hotels in 13 states. That company’s 130-room Cambria Suites will be part of a $47 million mixed-use development in downtown White Plains.
