Elections add two new directors to the board
Canadian hotelier Beth Campbell is the newly elected chairman of Best Western International. Owner and operator of the Best Western Inn at Penticton, British Columbia, Campbell starts her one-year term today.
The seven-member board of directors for the 4,000-plus member chain tapped P.G. West as the new vice chairman. West has served on the board since 2007 and been affiliated with the brand for more than three decades. He and his wife, Linda, own and operate the Best Western Turquoise Inn & Suites, Cortez, Colo. Julie Montmaneix, owner and operator of the Best Western Kings Hotel, Corona, Calif., is the new secretary/treasurer.
