Fleet’s aft show lounges being converted to Punchliner locales
Carnival Cruise Lines said it will open Carnival Punchliner Comedy Clubs in all 22 vessels in its fleet by the end of the year. The cruise-ship operator made that decision after seeing a positive response to the concept's first locale, which debuted on the then-new Carnival Dream last fall.
“Laughter is the most public, most infectious expression of fun, so we're excited to provide our guests with an expanded offering in comedy with our new Punchliner Comedy Clubs," said Gerry Cahill, Carnival's president and ceo.
All of Carnival's aft show lounges will be converted to comedy clubs with a special stage and branded glassware, menus, employee uniforms and other items featuring the Punchliner Comedy Club logo.
