Guy’s Burger Joints to be rolled out on several ships
Carnival Cruise Lines is partnering with celebrity chef Guy Fieri to offer a new shipboard dining venue called Guy's Burger Joint. The restaurant will debut aboard the Carnival Liberty later this month, and will be rolled out to several other Carnival ships over the next few years as part of the line's fleetwide upgrade effort.
The inaugural Guy's Burger Joint will be located adjacent to the Liberty’s main pool area, and will feature a décor “imbued with the Food Network star’s passion for car culture and his California roots,” Carnival says. Life-size surfboards and car elements such as bumpers, grilles and chrome pipes will adorn the walls, while car hoods will hang on the ceiling over the two condiment stations. Wall-mounted TVs will feature clips of Fieri talking about his new culinary effort.
“Guy Fieri is a fun, unique culinary superstar whose energy and passion for food is reflective in this one-of-a-kind shipboard burger joint concept,” said Gerry Cahill, Carnival president and ceo.
