Work is continuing on the CityCenter hotel/casino project in Las Vegas, after co-developer MGM Mirage made a $220 million debt payment on Friday. Had MGM not made that payment, the $9 billion project was expected to declare bankruptcy and construction work on it would have come to a halt. Questions about CityCenter's future have swirled for the last week, ever since MGM was sued by Dubai World, its development partner on the project.
