Breckenridge locale to fly Hilton flag

Hilton Worldwide and Vail Resorts Inc. have signed an agreement to convert the Great Divide Lodge in Breckenridge, Colo., into a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. The 208-key hotel will debut under the DoubleTree flag late this year, after undergoing some refurbishments and upgrades.

The new DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge’s on-site amenities will include nine conference rooms, a business center, fitness center, the 9600 Grill & Restaurant, an indoor pool, hot tubs and a full-service sports shop with equipment rental (winter only). The hotel is located adjacent to the ski lifts of the Peak 9 base area within the Breckenridge ski resort.

Rob Palleschi, global head of DoubleTree by Hilton, said the agreement with Vail Resorts “underscores the unlimited opportunity for our brand to bring outstanding DoubleTree by Hilton destinations to a variety of incredible leisure travel destinations around the world.”
