Concord Sells Four Marriott Hotels in Canada

Will maintain operating contracts


Concord Hospitality Enterprises Inc. sold a portfolio of four Marriott-branded hotels in Ontario, Canada, to Manitoba-based private investment group Genesis Hospitality for an undisclosed price. Concord will continue to operate the hotels.

Genesis Hospitality partner Gary Buckley says the investment brings his company’s hotel portfolio to 10 properties, and that it has “an aggressive appetite to build on that.” The hotels included in the sale are:

*The 132-key Residence Inn by Marriott Toronto Vaughan;

*The 94-key Courtyard by Marriott Mississauga Airport/Corporate Centre West;

*The 133-key Residence Inn Mississauga Airport/Corporate Centre West;

*The 136-key Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton.
