Hilton Hotels Corp.'s Middle East and Africa pipeline has plans for at least 16 properties across the region. The Conrad flag will fly over at least three of the luxury properties on tap, joining the two existing Conrads in Egypt. Future sites include the 550-room Conrad Dubai is set to open in 2010, and the 250-room Conrad Bahrain and 380-room Conrad Abu Dhabi that are set to open in 2011. Global Conrad plans include new hotels in Shanghai, the Bahamas, Thailand, Beijing and Portugal.
