Cunard Line has revealed the design of its newest ocean liner, the Queen Elizabeth, which is scheduled to enter service in October 2010. The 2,092-passenger ship, the third Cunard vessel to bear that name, will bring the company's fleet back up to three ships.
Cunard officials say the new ship will reference its predecessor, Queen Elizabeth 2, in interior décor and style, but with a modern twist. The ship will feature double- and triple-height public rooms and intricately detailed interiors, replete with wood paneling, mosaics, chandeliers and marble.
