Cinebarre, an upscale cinema-eatery concept, will make its Seattle debut later this week. The former Regal Theater site in Mountlake Terrace will house Cinebarre's fourth locale (the others are in Asheville, N.C., Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Thornton, Colo.).
Converting the Seattle theater into a Cinebarre involved installing a commercial kitchen; converting the lobby into a lounge with a bar, custom high back chairs and bench tables; and creating eight screening rooms featuring state-of-the-art audiovisual systems. Cinebarre ceo Terrell Braly describes the design as "retro-industrial, with lots of black and silver."
