Wyndham Hotel Group has named Eric Danziger president and ceo. Danziger, who started his 30-year hotel career as a bellman at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, was most recently ceo of WhiteFence, an online one-stop comparison shopping and transaction site for home services. In addition to previously working for Wyndham as its president in the 1990s, Danziger's career also includes stops at Doubletree Inns, Starwood Lodging and Carlson Hotels Worldwide. He will begin overseeing Wyndham's portfolio of 12 brands encompassing nearly 7,000 franchised and managed hotels on Dec. 1.
