Miami based Desires Hotels has unveiled the first international addition to its collection of luxury boutique hotels: The Charlee in Medellin, Colombia. The 44-room property, which is slated to open in 2010, will feature a rooftop pool bar/VIP Ultra Lounge, a five-star restaurant and a spa.
The Charlee represents the first holding of Desires' international division, which launched in June. "Desires Hotels, while continuing delivering unexpected amenities in stylish settings, looks beyond current limitations to set a precedent of redefining international travel trends," says Raul Leal, the company's president/partner.
