(September 2008) posted on Fri Sep 12, 2008 EDT

Disney Cruise Line's Disney Magic cruise ship is in dry dock undergoing a renovation, USAToday.com reports. The Magic's cabins are being upgraded, including the addition of flatscreen LCD TVs. In addition, the 1,754-passenger vessel is getting new seating areas and a pool with teak deck for the adults-only Quiet Cove Café; new registration areas for its Oceaneer Club (for 3 to 7-year-olds) and Oceaneer Lab (for 8 to 12-year-olds); and a new water playground for toddlers. The ship's makeover is scheduled for completion later this month.
