Siberian hotel first of several sites Hilton flag plans in country
Doubletree by Hilton has opened its first hotel in Russia, in Novosibirsk, the country's third-largest city. The 188-room locale is part of a newly built, mixed-use development in the Siberian city's center.
“Doubletree by Hilton is truly honored to introduce our global brand of full-service hotels in Russia with the opening of Doubletree by Hilton, Novosibirsk, which now represents the most modern, service-oriented hotel in the city,” said Rob Palleschi, global head for Doubletree. “Along with hotel projects already under construction in Sochi Adler and Perm, our development team is currently in discussions for what we hope will be continued successful growth for the Doubletree by Hilton brand in Russia in the future.”
The Doubletree by Hilton, Novosibirsk, is operated by LR Russia Hotel Development LLC, a subsidiary of London & Regional Partners Ltd., under a franchise agreement with a unit of Hilton Worldwide.
