Converted Bucharest hotel to debut next year
The Bucharest City Unirii Square Hotel in Romania will reopen as a Doubletree by Hilton hotel by the middle of next year. Hilton Worldwide has signed a franchise license agreement with VIS 7 Import Export SRL to open the updated 88-key property.
The Doubletree by Hilton, Bucharest-Unirii Square, will be Hilton's fifth hotel in Romania and the second Doubletree in that country. (Romania's first Doubletree, in Oradea. is due to open in early 2011.)
