228-key hotel will open in mid-2012
Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with ASV Investment Co. Ltd to open its first DoubleTree by Hilton property in Japan. The 228-room hotel is set to open in mid-2012 in Naha, the capital city of Okinawa. The hotel will offer an all-day dining restaurant, salon, meeting room, and laundry and car parking facilities
Global head of DoubleTree by Hilton Rob Palleschi said, “The upcoming opening will be a significant milestone in our brand’s continued growth strategy to provide outstanding hotel offerings in gateway countries and cities around the world.” Okinawa is one of Japan’s southern prefectures that consists of 160 islands, and the capital city of Naha is located in the southern part of the largest and most populous island.
