Trio of outlets opening in Shenzhen
As part of its ongoing expansion in Asia, Dunkin' Donuts has opened its first two shops in Shenzhen, China, and plans a third later this month. The baked goods/coffee shops are owned by Shaanxi Stellerich Restaurant Management Co. Ltd., Dunkin' Donuts' franchise partner in Guangdong Province, which is set to open two additional locations in Shenzhen by the end of this year, and up to than 150 shops in the province over the next 10 years.
“Our recent success in both Taiwan and Shanghai gives us confidence that the people of Guangdong will embrace Dunkin' Donuts,” said Anthony Pavese, chief operating officer for Dunkin' Donuts International.
