The Cacao Pearl, Palawan, a nonprofit, high-end eco-resort, will be built on a 124-acre private island in the Calamianes archipelago of the Philippines. Former film art director Antonio Calvo ("Love Actually" and "Pride & Prejudice") designed the 60 off-plan private residences and boutique resort that will also feature an infinity pool, spa, bars and a restaurant. The Cacao Resorts property will commit all its operating profits to environmental protection and social improvements.
