Carnival Cruise Lines (CCL) will bring its "Fun Ship" fleet to 22 vessels when its newest family-oriented ship, Carnival Dream, makes it maiden voyage this September. Debuting in the Mediterranean, the 130,000-ton, 3,646-passenger superliner will include leisure attractions ranging from 19,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play areas and an aqua park with the cruise industry's longest water slide (300 ft. across four decks) to the line's first 18-hole miniature golf course. Cabins also have family appeal. All accommodations have two bathrooms, and many are outfitted for families up to five.
