InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced it will soon open the Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown in a former Hampton Inn. The 23-story property is undergoing a $14 million renovation that includes upgrades to its 300 rooms and suites, as well as the addition of 22 meetings rooms with a total of 22,000 square feet of space. In addition, the property will house a new restaurant, the TEN15 Elm, and a new nightclub, Thrive.
“We're pleased to bring our fifth Crowne Plaza to the Dallas area, especially in such a convenient location for business travelers," said Gina LaBarre, vice president, brand delivery, the Americas, IHG. “There are several major employers in the area that will benefit from the meetings-savvy products and services that only a Crowne Plaza can provide.”
The Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown is owned by Terry and Patty Tognazzini and managed by Tog Hotels Downtown Dallas LLC, under a license agreement with IHG.
