New décor to be used in restaurant chain’s new-builds
First Watch, a breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant chain, has unveiled a new design for its outlets. The updated look, created by Orlando, Fla.-based Schmidt Design Studio, has been rolled out in three newly opened restaurants in Nashville, Tenn., Jacksonville, Fla., and Solon, Ohio. In addition, six existing First Watch restaurants in the Columbus, Ohio, market have also been remodeled with new design template.
Dubbed “Connect,” the updated décor’s features new upholsteries in vibrant patterns, contemporary millwork, custom carpet, faux-wood plank flooring, an architectural drop ceiling that increases the amount of natural daylight within the space and a window-encased open kitchen.
“We are very excited about how ‘Connect’ ties our core values of fresh food and a pleasant dining experience to our restaurant's interior look and feel,” said Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch, which is based in Bradenton, Fla., and has more than 90 restaurants in 13 states.
First Watch said all of its new-build restaurants will feature the new interior design concept, including the 15 additional restaurants it plans to open in 2012.
