Baja Fresh Canyons Burger concept debuts in Montana

Fresh Enterprises has opened its first dual restaurant concept in Bozeman, Mont. The 3,500-sq.-ft. restaurant houses both a Baja Fresh Mexican unit and a Canyons Burger Co. outlet. (Fresh Enterprises acquired that fast-casual gourmet burger chain last year.)
Fresh Enterprises hired Tesser, a San Francisco-based brand strategy and retail design firm, to create the dual-concept space. Tesser concluded that “the common DNA” for both brandss was in using fresh ingredients and customized choices, and created a new logo, messaging and enhanced environmental design reflecting those attributes. In addition, the dual-concept restaurant features furnished with hard woods and colorful counter tops.
Fresh Enterprises says the Baja Fresh Canyons Burger locale is designed to offers guest “an upscale dining experience with fast-casual prices and speed.” The Bozeman locale is owned and operated by franchisees Tim and Heidi Redelsperger, who have acquired the rights to the restaurant concept throughout Montana. “We think there is a significant niche for Baja Fresh Canyons in Montana,” Tim Redelsperger said. “The restaurant's mantra is ‘Eat Well. Play Hard. Live Fresh,' and we believe this fits well with the lifestyle here.”
