The Aguas de Ibiza Spa & Resort in Spain has joined the Spanish hospitality group Fuenso and become the first property to bear Fuenso's new Quilibra Hotels brand. The five-star property is located on Spain's Mediterranean coast and is a member of the Design Hotels consortium.
In addition to 112 guest rooms and suites, the Quilibra Aguas de Ibiza features a newly opened Bodyna spa. The hotel, which was built by Ibizan architect Juan de los Rios and designed by Barcelona-based Triade Studio, opened last August.
Fuenso Group, which also runs the hospitality brand Hospes Infinite Places, plans to open a second Quilibra property in Murcia, Spain, in 2010. Beyond that, the company is looking to expand the chain to northern Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
