Some new Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes units to bear streamlined design
Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. has opened two new Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes locales, and plans to open four more this year. The chain’s latest units are in Encinitas, Calif., and Naples, Fla., and feature its signature 45-foot salad bar.
The Encinitas locale bears the company's new streamlined interior design, which Garden Fresh says translates into faster construction timelines and the ability to enter previously unavailable spaces, like shopping centers and strip malls.
“The restaurant business is changing, and in order to grow and reach new markets restaurants must be strategic. We have developed a strategy for 2010 and beyond that will enable Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. to grow in new and existing markets and introduce new guests to our wholesome, healthy fare,” said Joan Scharff, Garden Fresh’s executive director of marketing.
The company said the new Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes restaurants it opens this year will be a mix of its traditional and updated designs.
