Parkview Developers said it is working on New York’s first gay hotel, THE OUT NYC. The first phase of the gay urban resort will open this fall in the city’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood.

THE OUT NYC complex, whose interiors were created by Paul Dominguez, will be located on 42nd Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues. It will include a 105-room boutique hotel; the 11,000- sq.-ft. XL NIGHTCLUB lounge and cabaret by John Blair, Beto Sutter and FV Events; a 24/7 café and restaurant called KITCHEN, operated by the team behind another popular Hell’s Kitchen locale, the Eatery Restaurant; three courtyards; a business/conference center; function space and a wellness center.

“This is an idea whose time has come,” said Ian Reisner, managing partner, Parkview Developers. “What makes THE OUT NYC a gay hotel is the comfort level and tailored amenities for the community. THE OUT NYC will become a ‘can’t-miss’ for gay tourists as well as the epicenter of gay life for LGBT New Yorkers. With New York’s recent legislation [allowing same-sex marriages], we look forward not only to hosting countless gay couples, but marrying them as well.”

The complex's nightclub will open first, followed by other phases of the project.
