Luxury operator Spa Chakra will open a 12,500 square-foot spa at the five-star Roosevelt New Orleans this summer. Located on the first floor, the facility will include 10 private treatment rooms; a couple's therapy suite; VIP treatment suite, hydrotherapy; a pre-therapy foot bath; 2,300 square feet of fitness space and an extensive retail section. It's all part of the Roosevelt's new look and new branding. The legendary hotel, the newest member of Hilton Hotels Corp.'s prestigious Waldorf Astoria Collection, is undergoing a $145 million restoration.
