Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas has started work on 75,000 square feet of full-service meetings and convention space as part of its $750 million expansion and renovation. "The expansion of the Hard Rock's meetings and convention space allows us to satisfy the demand of our diversified customers who have had to look elsewhere in the past for groups larger than 600 people," said Yale Rowe, senior vice president/general manager operations.
When completed this spring, the new meeting spaces will feature rock-glamour décor, built in flat screens with projection capability, wireless Internet and CAT5 cabling. As previously announced, the Hard Rock complex is also adding 950 rooms in two towers by the middle of this year.
