Dalian Wanda Group has appointed Hilton Hotels Corp. to manage five new hotels in China. The properties covered by the agreement are all slated to open in 2012 and include the Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay and Doubletree by Hilton Sanya Haitang Bay on Hainan Island; the Conrad Dalian and Hilton Dalian; and the Hilton Nanjing. Dalian is a China-based commercial real estate developer with assets totaling $4.4 billion; Hilton currently operates nine hotels in China and has 23 more properties under development there.
