Hilton Hotels Corp. is continuing to grow The Waldorf Astoria Collection of luxury hotels, adding the Boca Raton Resort & Club in South Florida to the brand. The Boca Raton complex, the 13th hotel in the collection, was originally created by architect Addison Mizner and recently underwent a $220 million renovation.
The addition of the Boca Raton resort is part of an ongoing expansion of the Waldorf Collection by Hilton. Slated to open this year are the Waldorf Astoria Orlando Bonnet Creek in Florida, the Dakota Mountain Lodge in Park City, Utah and the Bentley, Waldorf Astoria Collection in London. Scheduled to come on line next year are The Palace Jerusalem, Israel, the Waldorf Astoria Sarasota in Florida and the proposed the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Calif.
