Hotel giant to add Waldorf Astoria, Conrad locales to its portfolio there
Hilton International is planning to increase its brand presence in India, including the luxury chains of Waldorf Astoria and Conrad, according to the HVS Asia Pacific Hospitality Newsletter. Hilton has sought approval from India's Foreign Investment Promotion Board to allow the company to promote more brands in that country, such as Doubletree and Hampton by Hilton, Waldorf Astoria and Conrad. The company currently operates a joint venture with DLF for four brands in India: Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Residences and Homewood Suites, HVS reports.
