Hilton Hotels Corp. is partnering with the Abdulmohsen Al-Hokair Group for Tourism and Development to open 13 Hilton Garden Inn properties (with a total of 2,500 rooms) in Saudi Arabia. The first property is slated to open in 2009 in Riyadh. Then, over the next five years, properties will debut in such Saudi locales as Al Khobar, Dammam, Jubail, King Abdullah Economic City, Taif, Abha, Tabuk, Hail/Buraydah and Yanbu. Hilton Hotels currently operates four properties in Saudi Arabia: three Hiltons in Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah, and The Waldorf=Astoria Collection property in Jeddah.
