Join China’s 6,000-key gaming complex
A 600-key Conrad locale and 1,200-key Holiday Inn will be part of the Sands Cotai Central mixed-use development in Macao, China. Resort developer Sands China Ltd. signed franchise agreements with Hilton Worldwide and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) to launch the hotels, which will both open in the first quarter of 2012.
"With internationally-renowned hotel brands, countless non-gaming attractions, and casino facilities which represent less than two percent of the property's total space, we would be proud to have Cotai Central become the government's model for future development in Macao," says Sheldon Adelson, chairman of Las Vegas Sands Corp.
The 6,000-key mixed-use development will be comprised of Conrad, Sheraton, Sheraton Towers and Holiday Inn hotels and will feature meeting/convention space, two casinos, luxury retail outlets, entertainment and dining options.
