23-story tower to open in 2012
HKR Architects (HKR) said it has been awarded the design contract to create a 23-story hotel in London. The planned five-star hotel, at 151 City Road, will include 273 guest rooms, as well as a gym, spa, signature restaurant, banqueting, conference and business center, corporate lounges and panoramic bar/restaurant.
The building is slated for completion in 2012 and will include a high fritted glass façade and louvered roof. HKR did not disclose what name or brand the hotel will operate under.
