Hooters of America Inc. is joining forces with Colliers International to undertake an ambitious global expansion that would involve opening between 70 and 90 new restaurants in the next several years. Hooters currently has about 455 locations in 29 countries.
Colliers will serve as Hooters' preferred real estate provider in that expansion, working to identify new locations and negotiate lease terms, as well as offer advice on tactical planning for optimal branding exposure. Colliers has more than 480 offices in 61 countries. “Hooters is one of the most distinctive and recognizable casual dining restaurant chains in the world, with a tremendous platform for growth,” said Scott Thiell, managing director of Colliers' retail services group.
