The Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles has reopened, after undergoing a two-year, multimillion-dollar renovation overseen by designers Alexandra Champalimaud and Rockwell Group.

The Dorchester Collection hotel, which first opened 65 years ago, retains its Spanish Colonial architecture splashed in “Bel-Air” pink, but now features 103 updated guest rooms and suites by Champalimaud that make visual references to the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s. New to the hotel are several loft and hillside accommodations, along with a fitness studio and the 4,134-square-foot Hotel Bel-Air Spa by La Prairie with seven treatment rooms.

Rockwell Group redesigned the hotel’s dining venues, including the creation of the signature Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air and updates to its bar, terrace, grand ballroom and executive boardroom.
