Lanting Hotel Group Inc. (LHG) has launched Stay, a new hotel/youth hostel hybrid brand, at a 138-room prototype property in downtown Los Angeles. Designers Catherine Coan and Amy Price created a boutique lodging facility that offers a menu approach to accommodation selection. Guests can choose from private rooms with private baths to shared rooms with shared baths down the hall. With a target demographic of 18- to 30-year-old international and domestic travelers, other Stay properties are planned for San Diego, Hollywood and San Francisco.
