54-story locale to open in 2013
Extell Development Co. said it will build a new, 54-story Hyatt Hotel in New York’s Times Square. The 487-key property, slated for completion in 2013, will be managed by an affiliate of Hyatt Hotels Corp.
The 550-ft.-tall hotel will feature an exterior design by architectural firm SLCE and interior spaces by SPaN of New York. The four-star hotel, on West 45th Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue, will include a lobby bar, three-meal restaurant, rooftop terrace, Sky-lounge, meeting space with an adjacent terrace, six-treatment room Hyatt Spa and StayFit@Hyatt fitness center.
