How's this for a rapid rollout? Hyatt Place has opened its 150th hotel, just four years after the brand's launch. The 150th Hyatt Place is the Charleston Airport/Convention Center near Charleston, S.C., which has 127 keys and is owned by Florence, S.C.-based Naman Hotels.
“Since we opened the doors of the first Hyatt Place in 2006, our guests repeatedly tell us that we created a new hotel category that shows we understand their lifestyle and allows them to seamlessly transition from home to hotel in a way that was never possible before,” said Gary Dollens, global head, franchise and select operations, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. “As we celebrate the 150th hotel milestone and the brand's record growth in the U.S., we look forward to introducing the Hyatt Place brand to travelers around the world.”
Hyatt Place hotels feature fitness centers; coffee and wine bars; and Guest Kitchens offering made-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner entrées. Guest rooms offer ergonomic work centers and state-of-the-art media centers that allow electronic devices to be plugged directly into 42-inch high definition televisions.
