InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced plans for its first property in the Maldives, a 117-room Holiday Inn in the capital city of Malé. The 15-story hotel is slated to open in September. Its amenities include a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness center and the first branded spa in Malé, the Coconut Spa.
