Taj partners with luxury auto brand
Taj Hotels and Palaces and Jaguar will unveil an auto-themed Jaguar suite at the 51 Buckingham Gate Taj Suites and Residences in London next month. The collaboration between the two TATA-owned companies involves a two-bedroom, residential-style space that references the luxury auto brand’s vehicles.
The 1,832-sq.-ft. suite was created by Jaguar design director Ian Callum and his in-house team, and features materials used in the brand’s cars, including leather, metal and high-gloss veneer. Other details include a clean-fuel fireplace that references the car make’s signature rear window, ebony veneer doors, wood paneling, custom-made Jaguar wallpaper, auto-inspired art and collector’s items.
