Dubai-based Jumeirah plans to open a 219-room luxury hotel in Frankfurt, Germany. The company has signed an agreement to lease and operate the hotel element of the PalaisQuartier leisure and retail complex that's being built by MAB Development.
The Jumeirah Frankfurt, slated to open in mid 2010, will include a contemporary fine dining restaurant designed by Takashi Sugimoto and his team at Japan-based Super Potato. The hotel's overall interior design is being done by Peter Silling & Associates, while the building architecture is by KSP Engel und Zimmermann.
