JW Marriott Set for Bahrain Bay Complex

50-story luxury hotel will open in 2016

Marriott International will open the JW Marriott Manama Bahrain Hotel as part of the Bahrain Bay complex, a $2.5 billion development designed by architect Yousif Daoud Al Sayegh and Associates.

The 50-story hotel is slated to open in 2016, and will include 274 rooms and suites and 102 residences. The hotel will also feature an executive lounge, six restaurants, more than 17,000 sq ft. of meeting space and a health and leisure club and spa. 

This hotel will be JW Marriott’s first property in Bahrain, an island state in the Persian Gulf. Marriott International will also open a 78-unit Residence Inn by Marriott in the country 2012 and the 318-room Renaissance Bahrain Amwaj Island Hotel in 2013.
