Dolce’s Ravella to operate at former Ritz-Carlton site
Dolce Hotels and Resorts will open the Ravella at Lake Las Vegas resort next week at a former Ritz-Carlton hotel site in Henderson, Nev. The Ravella complex will feature a 349-room-and-suite resort on the shores of the largest privately owned, man-made lake in the country.
The development, located about 20 miles southeast of the Las Vegas Strip, will also feature a feature a 30,000-sq.-ft. spa and fitness center, 39,000 square feet of meeting or social event space (including the Vegas area's only over-water chapel) and several restaurants and lounges.
The Ritz-Carlton at Lake Las Vegas closed last May. In an interview last fall with the Las Vegas Sun, Dolce ceo Steve Rudnitsky said owner Village Hospitality LLC selected his firm to rebrand and manage the property because it's a good fit with his company's main line of business, which involves accommodating business retreats, strategic planning meetings and other corporate sponsored activities.
