Olivier Poirot has been named chief financial officer of Accor Hospitality. Poirot is currently ceo of Accor North America, Motel and Studio 6.
Choice Hotels International Inc. has hired Patti Goodrich as vice president of enterprise infrastructure.
The Legacy Cos., a real estate investment and advisory services group, has named John Griswold a principal of its Legacy Hotel Advisors unit.
David Monahan has been named ceo and general manager of the 3,000 room Las Vegas Hilton.

OPENINGS/RENOVATIONS/BRAND NEWS
Work is underway on The Leela Palace Kempinski New Delhi in India. When completed next year, the five-star hotel will feature 260 suites and rooms, an ESPA spa and five restaurants. The property's design has been inspired by the style of Edwin Lutyens, the architect who laid out New Delhi almost a century ago, and will combine neo-Classical architecture with elements from northern Indian palaces.
Crestline Hotels & Resorts has opened the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel in Palm Springs, Calif., after a major renovation at the property. The 410-key hotel previously operated under the Wyndham flag.
Hotel Luca, a 20-room property that also features a Cantinetta Piero restaurant, full-service spa and two residences, has opened in Yountville, Calif. The project's architect was Jeffrey Fink and Associates Architecture of Los Angeles, while its interiors were created by KMF Design of Carmel, Calif.
Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, a quick-casual fresh Mexican chain, announced that franchisees Neil Seth; Subash Seth and Ed Chen plan to open four additional locations in midtown Manhattan during 2010. The partners currently operate two Baja locales in that market.
JAL Hotels Co Ltd. has announced plans to build a 443-room hotel in Xiamen, China, which will join its luxury Nikko Hotels International group when completed in spring 2011.
Rumbi Island Grill, a Utah-based company specializing in tropical fast casual dining, plans to open locales in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Logan, Utah, during the first quarter of 2010.
Brady's Landing, a waterfront restaurant and banquet facility in Houston, will soon take the wraps off nearly $1 million in renovations.

The Hay-Adams in Washington, D.C., has become the first hotel in the world to receive the Luxury Eco-Certification Standard (LECS) Leading Hotel from Sustainable Travel International.
AWARDS
Cepale & Associates and Hill & Associates have been awarded the 2009 Point of Excellence awards by Wilson & Associates, a Dallas-based interior architectural design firm. The awards program, now in its 13th year, recognizes vendors and service providers in the design industry who provide exemplary service and perform above and beyond expectations. All proceeds from the luncheon honoring the award recipients benefit The Wilson Foundation, a nonprofit organization created by Wilson Associates founder Trisha Wilson to provide financial support for education and healthcare programs for disadvantaged children.
