Midtown locale is chain’s first new-build in five years
The 404-key Loews Atlanta Hotel opens today, the chain's first new-build hotel in more than five years and its first property in Georgia. The hotel anchors a mixed-use development in Atlanta's Midtown.
“Atlanta has been on our wish list for years, and we are thrilled to finally be opening a Loews Hotel in this growing city,” Jonathan Tisch, the company's chairman and ceo. "Our hotel is a true gem with spectacular views, beautiful rooms and an ideal location right in the heart of Midtown."
The hotel was designed by Daroff Design Inc + DDI Architects, PC, which created a property that infuses a contemporary Southern sensibility with artwork, artifacts and music by emerging and established Southern artists. The hotel is home to eleven and Bar eleven, its signature restaurant and bar, as well as more than 25,000 square feet of meeting space. An Exhale Spa and Fitness Center is slated to open on the premises later this year.
