Downtown Holiday Inn property converting to brand

The Luxe Hotels' worldwide brand expansion has come to its home town of Los Angeles. Efrem Harkham, the company's ceo and founder, announced his company has signed an agreement with Emerik Hotel LLC to rebrand the current Holiday Inn Los Angeles City Center as a Luxe Hotel. Following a multi-million dollar renovation which will begin immediately, the hotel will begin operating under the Luxe name next spring.

Harkham, whose company's portfolio consists of 200 independently owned and operated hotels, said his vision for the new Luxe locale is to replicate the upscale, intimate, boutique-style ambiance of the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, Bel Air, and the Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel, Beverly Hills. The Los Angeles property will have about 200 rooms and suites when its renovation is complete.
